• September may be Yosemite , Montana , Catalina Island or Oklahoma
• October may be Zion for the changing of the Aspens

Grand Canyon is Rained Out

I had a group going to Grand Canyon fro a Saturday Hike to the river and back. Some of us did the hike last year and planned a different hike adding the Plateau Rim from Bright Angel Trail. Last year we took the South Kaibab down and Bright Angel up . Looks like we will be doing this one later and that will be fine because of the water stations on Bright Angel. GRAND CANYON LATE APRIL BY TY LAFFOON

Bill Auger , Fernando Forero and maybe a couple other will join me in hiking Grand Canyon. Looks like Thursday April 24th we will hit the road late afternoon. Arrive about noon Friday and do the tourist loop . Do the hike on Saturday and head home Sunday We will be taking down the South Kaibab Trailhead to the Colorado River and up on the Bright Angel .













 

Looking at San Gorgonio this weekend

Couple Buddies and I are looking at a couple nights backcountry on San Gorgonio . We have not been training so it may suck . If I don't post on Monday send out the dogs

Got to do the DMV thing . Looks like a great afternoon so I'm going to the beach on a bike ride . Maybe a happy hour or two . Got a hike planned for the weekend and most likely some BBQ and wine
